Widgets on this site include animations, interactive tools and video examples. Animations reduce minutes of teacher-talk into seconds of visuals illustrating steps to a solution. Intercative tools allow learners to change parameters and see how the solution changes. Videos are short clips that show how to solve a problem step-by-step. All of these resources are designed to help students learn math concepts in a more engaging way.

The teacher behind Math Widgets spent years teaching algebra 2 and calculus and is populating the site with items from that experience. If the demand is there, other levels of math will be included

The site was conceived by an engineer-turned-teacher who was frustrated by a lack of tech resources for math education. You are allowed to use these widgets for any educational purpose.
